Reactive Silicone Coatings

This product is a two-station application focused on providing release for aggressive adhering
products. The rubber and plastic industries require release for molten materials. This is also an
excellent product for baking application where release is critical. The two-station system also
extends the performance of the product as the basecoat prevents migration into the sheet.
TexCoat provides three levels of release to fit your applications:

• RS30 < 30gms Keil
• RS50 < 50gms Keil
• RS80 < 80gms Keil

This product is highly flexible in using the basecoat to address a specific requirement beyond the
release of the topcoat. The system can provide levels of moisture, corrosive, or chemical
protection.

All of the ingredients in the precoated Reactive Silicone product meet the FDA direct food
requirement for food packaging. Specifically, this product contains no Butyl-tin or Organo-tin. This
product is cleared for consumer applications under 21CFR176.170 (direct contact with fatty-
aqueous foods) and 21CFR176.180 (direct contact with dry foods) and 21CFR176.300 subpart C.
This product and Coating(s) complies with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Acts Food Additive Regulations as shipped.
