Texguard  

Our Texguard product has been especially formulated to replace curtain coated wax applications.  We utilize a dual station process to achieve the barrier and release properties desired.  This product is fully recyclable and repulpable.  

The “Dual Station” process involves the application of two separate coatings.  The base coat is designed to seal the sheet and acts as a barrier dependant on the application.  The topcoat provides an addition barrier as well as release properties.  Combined, the two formulations are ideal for the replacement of curtain coating.  

We now have four products:

Texguard                               Original formula, best release, Hot melt gluable.

Texguard 44                         Cold set gluable, printable.  

Application factors are important, requirements of the package will dictate the success of this products employment.

The ideal use is a die-cut, self-locking package with Texguard applied to the inside liner.  RSC’s are possible with the use of the cold gluable products.  Additionally, if your customer is using case erectors with hot melt adhesives, we can modify the coatings accordingly.  

Run ability is superb with this product.  The product is cured when coated and will run at or above normal corrugator speed.  This is an advantage as there is no further machine center required to provide protection.
